Send signal to the receiver

When the kinetic switch is pressed, a small pulse is triggered by a mechanical movement. This movement drives an integrated electromechanical system that briefly generates current. This is sufficient to send a radio signal to a receiver. The receiver processes the signal and switches the load accordingly.

Yes - 5 years

Indoors, the range is about 30 meters. However, the construction of the walls is relevant. However, switching through 1-2 walls is no problem. Outdoors, the range is about 80 meters, depending on obstacles. However, the range can be affected by local conditions!

Yes, the range can be extended by using another receiver as a "bridge". This bridge can then be paired with up to 10 switches/buttons and forwards the signal to the previously paired receiver.

Every Kinetic Switch radio switch, regardless of series and type (whether rocker switch or remote control), can be paired with any receiver.

Each 1-channel receiver can be programmed with 10 switches or buttons. The 2-channel receiver stores 10 switch/button information per channel.

Yes! Each switch is individually addressed on the receiver through the teaching process. This prevents overlap or malfunction.

Yes! Any type of switching is possible. Up to 10 switches/buttons can be connected to each receiver. Each switching command changes the actual state of the receiver. With conventional switching systems, cross, changeover and series switching are an issue, with kinetic switch all variants are possible without any problem.

Yes, the kinetic switch wireless switches are IP67 protected and can therefore be used in bathrooms or other damp rooms. The S-series switch is therefore also the right choice for outdoor use. We also offer boxes for our receivers that protect against moisture.

No, for this we offer you the receivers from the Compact series. These fit easily into a flush-mounted box, small lamp housings, etc.

The receiver is very compact and can therefore be installed in the lamp cover or an existing flush-mounted box, as well as in suspended ceilings.

We have five different receivers. Three versions with 1, 2, or 6 channels each for switching lights. One receiver for dimming and a separate receiver for motors, such as roller shutters.

Connecting the power cord is the same as connecting a light. However, we recommend consulting a professional for electrical work. If you do it yourself, please observe the following safety precautions when working with electricity:

The dimming function can be controlled with one or two buttons. However, for practical use, we strongly recommend two buttons. See our " Dimmable Set ."

A receiver with a dimming function is essential for dimming. A load of at least 7W is recommended per receiver to enable problem-free dimming. When selecting LED lamps, please note that our dimmers work on a TRIAC / PWM basis.

The left button is for turning off and dimming while the right button is for turning on and brightening.

Pressing it once turns it ON/OFF, just like with regular receivers. If you hold it down for a longer time, the brightness increases to its brightest point and then returns to dim. If you want to go in the opposite direction, press the button twice quickly and the receiver will toggle from bright to dim, or vice versa.

Yes, there are smart receivers that can be integrated into a WiFi network in addition to the normal radio control and can be controlled both via APP and with any common voice control.

We have special conditions for companies and dealers. Contact us and we'll talk about it.

To reset the receiver, hold down the small button on the device for approximately 13 seconds. This will delete all saved settings—including the connected wireless switches and the app integration.

You can then reconnect and set up the receiver. Resetting often helps resolve minor malfunctions or connection issues.

Kinetic Switch receivers are smart and can be controlled via the Tuya app, as well as the switches. If your receiver's light is flashing rapidly, it's in Wi-Fi search mode. Download the Tuya Smart app and connect the receiver. The app provides additional features to make your everyday life at home easier.
