Dimming settings

Dimming can be adjusted using a simple switch

Are you wondering how you can set the dimming function using your simple switch? Then we have the answer for you here.

Before you can start, please make sure that your receiver is correctly connected to the power supply and that all the lights you want are connected. Otherwise, pairing is not possible. If everything is connected correctly, we can almost get started. It is important that there is already a connection between the receiver and the switch. You can see how this works here .

If there is a connection, you can set the receiver to dimming mode. To do this, please hold down the control button for approx. 10 seconds.

The status light on the receiver now begins to flash twice in quick succession and then lights up permanently for a short moment. Now release the control button. The status light now flashes twice in quick succession and the dimming mode is active.

As with the standard connection, you can still switch the light on or off again with a short press on the radio switch or your button. However, you can now also dim it.

If your lamp is switched off and you hold down the switch or button, the light will begin to brighten and dim again at intervals. The dimming process stops after two cycles. If your lamp is switched on and you hold down your switch or button, the light dims or brightens - depending on which cycle the receiver is in. If there is less than a second between releasing and pressing again, the interval direction is reversed.

If you switch off the light when it is dimmed, the dimming status of your lamp is saved so that it retains the brightness setting when you switch it on again. Dimming mode is deactivated in the same way as it was activated. Note that a minimum total load of 7 watts per receiver is recommended for dimming.

Important: Suitable for all switches (buttons) of the S series and the C901 as well as the C310 and the C301 receiver.
