Connect via WiFi and set up the control via APP

Are you wondering how you can control your lights via the internet or your cell phone? Then we have the answer for you here:

Before you can start, please make sure that your receiver is correctly connected to the power grid and is connected to all the desired lights. If everything is connected correctly, we can get started.

If you want to control your lights via switches in addition to controlling them via the Internet, you can connect them to the receiver now as usual (you can find more information here ) or set them up later via the APP.

Step 1: Download the kinetic switch app (can be found in the App Store under “kinetic switch”, in the Google Play Store named as “无线动能”). Once you have downloaded the app, create a customer account. To do this, register in the app via email or mobile phone number. You will then receive a verification code. Once you have entered the code you received, you can now set your password. Once this is done, you can set up your account or “family” in the app.

Step 2: Add your recipient to the app. To do this, the WiFi mode must be active on the receiver. If this is not the case, press and hold the control button on the receiver for 10 seconds. The status light flashes slowly, then quickly and finally continuously. Now release the control button. After a moment, the status light will flash twice per second. Wifi mode is now active.

If the WiFi mode is on and the WiFi is active on the cell phone, press “Add device” in the app.

Step 3: Now press “Single Receiver” and confirm that the status light on the receiver flashes twice per second. Now select the Wifi network and enter the network key. The app will now search for active recipients. This can take up to a minute. Once the device has been found, you can rename the recipient accordingly and - optionally - select a location where the recipient is located (e.g. living room).

Your recipient is now successfully integrated into your app. You can create the rooms yourself at any time and add or move recipients there. You can now switch your lamp or receiver on or off in the app. If you press the lamp symbol, you can use additional functions such as dimming, a countdown or setting a light alarm clock. In this mode you can also link radio switches to your receiver. To do this, please press the “plus symbol” and then activate your radio switch. This is now linked to the receiver.

Note: The receivers can also be controlled via the Smart Life app and the Tuya Smart app.

Important: Suitable for all switches and the C309 and the C310 receiver.

Connect via WiFi and set up the control via Amazon Echo

Before you can start, please make sure that the receiver is correctly connected to the power grid and that all the desired lights are connected. It is also important that you have installed and set up the kinetic switch app and the Alexa app. Once everything is prepared we can get started.

Step 1: Open the Alexa app and go to Skills & Games. Now look for the skill “Smart Life” and press activate.

Step 2: Using your account credentials for the kinetic switch app, you can now log in to the “Smart Life” skill.

Authorize the connection for Smart Life. The integration is then completed. You can now control the light with Amazon's Alexa.

Step 3: To control your light via voice command, please first say Alexa as usual and then the voice command combined with the name you gave your recipient e.g. living room.

These are your possible commands: Alexa, turn on living room. Alexa, turn off living room. Alexa, dim the living room to 35 percent or your desired dimming status (but please note that only the C310 is dimmable).
